Termination of the PMF Program

As part of the implementation of Executive Order 14217, OPM is proceeding with issuing a final rule to facilitate this transition, including regulatory modifications to support the conversion of current Fellows. The final rule will outline the specific requirements for Fellows to complete the program and be eligible for conversion.

We are actively working through the details of the final rule and will provide additional guidance as it becomes available. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure a smooth and coordinated process.
